Mr Ramy Radwan
Lecturer
Ramy Tarek Radwan is an independent photographer, cinematographer, and university tutor from Cairo, currently based in Greece. Ramy Tarek Radwan is curious about exploring more about what is out there in the field of photography and cinematography to broaden his possibilities to narrate his visual stories in an alternative approach while implementing new techniques in his practice.
Ramy Tarek Radwan’s accolades are a testament to his skill and dedication. Notably, his work has been celebrated at the Sharjah Art Foundation Film Festival, where he clinched the coveted award for “Best Short Experimental” in the United Arab Emirates in 2020. His contributions were also acknowledged through participation in Vantage Point Sharjah 8 (VPS8) at Al Hamriyah Studios in the same year, where he showcased five compelling images. Furthermore, his remarkable talent as a cinematographer was recognized with the “Best Cinematography” award at the MasrDotBokra Film Festival in Egypt, also in 2020.
Beyond awards, Ramy's work has been showcased internationally, with over 15 selections in exhibitions and festivals globally.
