The Library is equipped with sufficient, relevant, and quality information resources. Qualified library staff, is there to give you all the support you need through your academic journey.
The Library premises include two physical facilities: The Information & Learning Commons (ILC) and The Green Reading Room. In both facilities, students will find computing & IT services and a variety of study & reading spaces, designed to meet the different needs of students.
Moreover, since you are a fully registered student, you have access to our vast array of print and electronic resources.

Your personal username & password is given to you during the Induction Week and will allow you to log in to all services including Google Classroom (Module materials), online library resources, computing facilities, email & other applications.
Your username cannot be changed.

All new students receive an email from the University of York with the title “University of York - personal account setup” as part of their registration process. This email will contain a username and password and instructions on how to set up the account to access University of York library resources

As a CITY College, University of York Europe Campus student, you have full-text access to Library e-resources, you can request interlibrary loans, and you can find help and support from all library staff. To access resources and services you need your:

The Subject Guide brings together all the additional resources & services available to CITY College, University of York Europe Campus students via the University of York Library, as well as our Skills Guides and Referencing Styles Guides and Academic Writing guides to help you become a good academic writer, a skill necessary for your coursework and dissertation.
Off-campus students can request material through Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery Services by sending an email to library
These services allow students to btain material such as articles, book chapters, conference proceedings and reports that are not part of the library collection, via consortia suppliers.
Off-campus students are able to use the Scan and Send Service to request chapters of books or articles or postal delivery of items. This service is free for all enrolled students.

We are committed to developing our services to off-campus students so any suggestions and ideas are welcome and will be taken into account.
Graduate students of CITY College continue to be an important part of our academic community long after they complete their studies. They are therefore welcome to use the library services, resources and facilities, if in Thessaloniki for reference and private study (commercial use is prohibited).

Visitors are welcome to use the Library facilities, resources and services.
You will need to go to the Library Services Desk when you arrive.
If you would like to use the Library on a more long-term basis (e.g. more than a month), please inform the library staff so you may join the Library as an external member.
You'll be registered and this will allow you to enter the Library and use our resources and facilities.
There are library PCs which visitors and external members can use to search library collections. Material held by the library is available on our online catalogue OpenABEKT.
To view most of our electronic resources free of charge on the premises, as long as they are used for educational purposes you need to be a registered member. Daily visitors do not have access to databases and electronic collections.
If you are visiting the Library you can use the photocopying, printing and scanning services with the charge of 0.03 cents per page.
You will need to inform the Library staff so they may authorize you with a temporary account.
Visitors and external members can connect to the College WiFi and follow instructions to log-on. Ask the Library staff to provide you with connection details.
